Lévis – Québec, QC, July 30th 2013: Chantier Davie Canada Inc. (‘Davie’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurie Lerue as Vice-President of Operations.
Today Davie announced the recruitment of Mr. Laurie Lerue as Vice-President of Operations where he will hold responsibility for the facility’s operation and in particular, the company’s core production activities.
Laurie has spent his 37+ year career in the shipbuilding and ship repair and refit sectors where he has served in a number of positions, both commercial and operational; spanning the naval, oil & gas and commercial shipping markets.
Prior to joining Davie, Laurie was Director of Naval Refits at Halifax shipyard, managing the HCM-FELEX program.
Further senior appointments are expected to be announced this month.
