Philip Burns-O’Brien joined the Davie team in 2023, playing a key role in acquiring the Finnish Helsinki Shipyard, defining Davie as a global leader in Arctic shipbuilding. Prior to joining Davie, Philip held senior positions at Babcock International Group for over two decades. There, he led organizational changes and business transformations worldwide. He was responsible for achieving significant, sustainable cost savings and revamping the Group’s operating model. Philip also served as the Global Director, Aerial FireFighting (AFF), and led business development for the aviation and marine sectors in North America. A chartered engineer, Philip holds a master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
