Bill Hives joined Davie in 2016 and has nearly 40 years’ experience in the maritime industry. Having previously held the position of Program Manager, he assumed responsibility for operations support services, which include supply chain, quality assurance, continuous improvement, quality control, document control, occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and environment. Bill began his career at sea as an engineer officer and then worked for leading oil and gas companies, where he held leadership positions in engineering, operations, projects, and business management around the world. He holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Aberdeen as well as degrees in Industrial Measurement, Process Control, and Marine Engineering from the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.
